The Senate has called on security agencies in the country to secure the release of the last Dapchi schoolgirl held back by Boko Haram insurgents.

The upper chamber yesterday also sought the release of the remaining 112 Chibok girls in captivity.

Majority leader, Senator Ahmad Lawan raised the point of order on the “recovery, return or release” of the abducted Dapchi girls.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to rescue the remaining Dapchi schoolgirl Leah Sharibu, who is still in captivity with Boko Haram terrorists.

The President said this less than 24 hours after over 100 of the girls who were abducted from their school on February 19, 2018, were rescued.
