The Federal Government has identified the establishment of modular refineries in the Niger Delta and the sustenance of the Amnesty Programme as part of its efforts at fighting unemployment.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, explained that the method would also stop fuel scarcity as the modular refineries would ensure availability of petroleum products.

Mustapha stated this yesterday in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Mustapha restated that the Federal Government was funding the reconstruction of 25 roads in the six geo-political zones of the country, including roads in the South-East and South-South zones, with the 100 billion naira Sukuk bond.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation explained that the spread of the road projects was in line with the federal character principle.
