NEMA RECEIVES 166 MORE NIGERIANS FROM LIBYA

The National Emergency Management Agency has received another batch of 166 voluntary returnees from Libya.

Their return was facilitated by the International Organisation for Migration yesterday.

The South-West Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Alhaji Yakubu Suleiman, received the returnees who arrived the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 8.10pm, aboard a Nouvel Air aircraft.

Alhaji Suleiman, who described the returnees’ journey to Libya as unfortunate, said they should consider it a phase of life that should not be allowed to dampen their bright future.

He advised them to learn from the experience and make their lives better, adding that they should strive to become anti-trafficking and illegal migration ambassadors in the country.
