KADUNA INLAND CONTAINER DEPOT OPENS FOR BUSINESS

The Nigerian Shippers Council has said export of agricultural produce from the Inland Container Depot, ICD, in Kaduna has commenced.

The council explained that hibiscus, ginger and garlic are currently being exported through the facility to Egypt and some West African countries.

The Area Officer of the Shippers Council in Kaduna, Bala Adamu, said claims that port operations had not started at the facility was not correct as they received about 20 containers by rail from the port in Lagos recently.
