PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA EMERGES WINNER OF ZIMBABWE PRESIDENTIAL POLL

The electoral commission in Zimbabwe has declared President Emmerson Mnangagwa winner of the country’s presidential election. President Mnangagwa won 50.8 percent of votes, compared to 44.3 percent for opposition leader Nelson Chamisa. Police authorities also removed opposition officials from the electoral commission stage when they rejected the results.
